Good to know
* Linalool and geraniol are natural components of lavender essential oil. Relevant for people with allergies.
Essential oils are extracted from flowers and parts of plants. They combine the concentrated power of the plants and, in addition to the fragrance, have various positive and negative effects. People with intolerance to certain plants often also react to the corresponding essential oils. A single essential oil consists of up to 200 chemical components - some of which can have an allergenic effect. For this reason, 26 allergenic components have been defined by the EU. These must always be shown separately in the overview of ingredients (INCI) and let people with allergies know that certain products should be avoided.
That's what our ingredients can do
1. Jojoba oil
Quality: organic, cold-pressed
Jojoba oil absorbs well and provides long-lasting protection against moisture loss without leaving a film. Jojoba oil is oxidatively very stable. It protects other oils from going rancid (in the product and on the skin) and thus from the formation of free radicals.
2. Squalane
Quality: conventional, vegetable from olives
Squalane feels very light and makes the skin soft and smooth. As the skin's own substance, squalene is an essential component of our skin lipids. Our oil is hydrogenated from the pressing residues of olives. In order for it to be used for our facial oil, it has to be processed. The raw material becomes squalane (with a).
3. Sea buckthorn pulp oil
Quality: organic, cold-pressed
The valuable, deep orange fruit oil is particularly valuable for dry skin care due to its balanced content of fatty acids, carotenoids and vitamins or mature skin. It helps in cell regeneration, has an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect. Sea Buckthorn Pulp Oil smells pleasantly sweet.
4. Vitamin E
Quality: non GMO, from soy
Vitamin E acts as a radical scavenger.
5. Essential lavender
Quality: organic, distillation of the flower spikes
Lavender oil promotes wound healing through collagen synthesis and helps to regenerate dry and stressed skin. The scent of lavender is hardly present in the product.
